Giving Opportunities

It is difficult to put a monetary value on the lifelong friendships and traditions we establish through the Pi Phi experience. We will never forget the songs, the skits, the scholarship and the bonding within a loyal sisterhood. For many of us, our years in the Pi Phi house established a foundation of confidence and creativity that enabled us to make lifetime contributions to our professions and our communities. We hope that each of you will reflect on that foundation and evaluate your ability and responsibility to come together for the future of Arkansas Alpha.

Our new home at 502 West Maple has been rebuilt in a way that honors our past and embraces our future. We need gifts of all sizes and we want all Arkansas Alphas, their families and friends to be a part of this important effort. You, individually, can make a huge difference. Did you know that if every living Arkansas Alpha made a gift of $1,000 to the campaign, we would meet our fundraising goal for the campaign? Think about the impact of that many women coming together to support the legacy of our chapter.

 

Please consider how you can leave your legacy to Pi Beta Phi. There are many giving opportunities and no gift is too large or too small! Each of us should give from the heart – perhaps not an equal share, but with equal love and enthusiasm.

 

Here are just a few ways that your $1,000 gift can be acknowledged in support of our new home!

• Angels of the Crest ($1,000) will acknowledge any initiated Pi Beta Phi (from any chapter) on the outside entrance wall of the Chapter Room with her name, chapter and initiation year. This is a great way to recognize family legacies of Pi Beta Phi as names can be listed together on one plaque. Please note that this donation is $1,000 per name.

• Pavers may be purchased for $1,000 (small) or $1,909 (large – a great option for multiple names) and will be placed in the Courtyard.

• Chapter Room Chairs ($1,000) are only available to initiated members of Arkansas Alpha. Your name and initiation year will be included on the back of a chair.

 

The above gifts are wonderful ways to honor not only your personal memories of Pi Beta Phi, but also those of a mother, sister, daughter or pledge sister. As well, additional naming opportunities at larger giving levels are still available within the home. Please contact Misty McIlroy Hawkins for information on gifts over $3,000 and how they can be acknowledged. We look forward to continuing our legacy at the University of Arkansas and hope that you will help support our efforts. 

 

How To Give

There are several ways to support The Second Century Campaign and we are hopeful that flexible giving plans make it easier for you to give.

To make a pledge and pay it out over time, please click on this link and complete the pledge agreement. Pledges may be paid out over five years and details are described on the pledge agreement.

If you would prefer to make a one-time gift that is tax deductible, please contact Misty McIlroy Hawkins for payment instructions. Your payment will be routed through the Pi Beta Phi Foundation and will support future maintenance and upkeep our home. You will receive a tax receipt from the Foundation.
